BJP national president Nitin Nabin is set to arrive in Visakhapatnam for his first official visit to Andhra Pradesh.
He will participate in key organisational meetings during his visit.
Nabin is scheduled to preside over the expanded BJP State Executive Committee meeting on August 18.
Representatives from all 945 mandals, district presidents, State office-bearers, Union and State ministers, MPs and MLAs are expected to attend.
The meeting is expected to discuss organisational functioning and the party’s programmes in Andhra Pradesh.
The State Executive is also expected to pass resolutions on development and investments in the State.
Another key focus will be the need for faster completion of the Polavaram irrigation project.
Nabin will be accompanied by BJP national general secretary (organisation) B.L. Santosh.
Both leaders will subsequently participate in the RSS All India Coordination Meeting at Gudilova.
The three-day coordination meeting is scheduled from August 19 to 21.
Representatives of 32 organisations inspired by the RSS are expected to participate.
The meeting will focus on coordination, organisational expansion and various social issues.
