Gold Prices Drop in Vizag: 22K at ₹92,100, Silver Holds Steady

Gold prices witnessed a notable dip in Visakhapatnam today, offering some relief to buyers ahead of the wedding and festival season. The rate for 10 grams of 22‑carat gold fell by ₹550, settling at ₹92,100, while 24‑carat gold declined by ₹600, priced at ₹1,00,480.

Despite the drop in gold, silver rates remained unchanged at ₹1,20,000 per kilogram, continuing their steady trend from earlier this week.

This decrease in gold prices aligns with broader fluctuations in international markets driven by a combination of easing inflation pressures, shifting investor sentiment, and a stable dollar index. Local jewellers have reported increased footfall, with many residents viewing the dip as an opportunity to purchase gold for upcoming events and investment purposes.

Experts suggest this is a favorable window for consumers to consider gold purchases, as future pricing could rise again depending on global economic indicators and domestic demand trends.
