A tragic road accident in Bheemunipatnam, near Visakhapatnam, claimed the lives of two young men. According to The Hindu, the victims were travelling on a motorcycle to fetch drinking water when the vehicle allegedly struck a road divider.

The report attributed the crash to overspeeding. The incident is a reminder that excessive speed can reduce a rider’s ability to react to sudden hazards and can lead to fatal consequences.

Road-safety experts advise two-wheeler riders to wear helmets, maintain safe speeds, remain alert to road conditions and avoid risky manoeuvres. Even short trips require caution, as accidents can occur within seconds.
