The Vizag Junior Literary Fest 2026 is set to return to Visakhapatnam on November 21 and 22, bringing together young readers and literature enthusiasts for two days of storytelling, creative learning and literary activities. Registrations open on October 24.

The festival is intended for children aged 4 to 16 years and will take place at Hawa Mahal on Beach Road. Organisers are planning around 100 sessions, offering children opportunities to engage with literature and explore their creativity.

Organised by the Lit Lantern Culture and Literature Society, the festival aims to encourage a love of reading and create opportunities for children to interact with literature through engaging activities. The event has become a platform for young participants to discover books, storytelling and different forms of creative expression.

Parents interested in registering their children can enquire at the listed registration points: Tanishq showroom on VIP Road, Pages Bookshop on Jail Road, and Bookmagic Library in L.B. Colony. For further details, organisers can be contacted by email at vjlfest@gmail.com.

The festival is expected to offer a lively programme for young audiences, bringing stories and creative experiences to the city’s literary calendar.
