₹20 Lakh Cash and 1 Kg Gold Stolen from House in Sheela Nagar, Vizag



In a shocking incident reported from Sheela Nagar, unidentified burglars allegedly stole ₹20 lakh in cash and 1 kilogram of gold ornaments from a locked house late on Sunday night. The case has sent shockwaves across the local neighborhood and has prompted an intense investigation by the police.


The Incident:

According to sources, the residents had gone out of town for a family function when the theft occurred. On their return, they were horrified to discover that the main door had been forcefully opened, and the house was ransacked. Cash and valuables worth several lakhs were found missing.

The victim immediately lodged a complaint with the Gajuwaka Police, who reached the scene and began preliminary investigation. Forensic teams were also called in to collect fingerprints and other evidence from the crime scene.


Investigation Underway:

Police suspect that the burglary was a pre-planned act, possibly involving someone who was aware of the family’s schedule. CCTV footage from surrounding areas is being reviewed to trace the movements of suspects near the house during the time of the theft.

Speaking to media, the investigating officer said, “We have registered a case and are analyzing CCTV footage. We are hopeful of identifying and arresting the culprits soon.”


Rising Concern Among Residents:

This incident has raised security concerns among the residents of Sheela Nagar and nearby localities. Several locals have urged authorities to increase night patrolling and install more CCTV cameras in vulnerable zones.
