Students from six colleges and four hostels in Visakhapatnam took part in a week-long programme organised to commemorate Bhagat Singh Jayanti. The events brought together students from different educational institutions for a series of competitions and activities centred on the life and legacy of Bhagat Singh. 

The programme included competitions designed to encourage students to learn about Bhagat Singh and reflect on his contribution to India’s freedom movement. Students participated in activities including essay writing, elocution and quizzes. 

 

The week-long programme concluded with the recognition of participants and distribution of prizes to winners. The organisers said the activities were aimed at engaging students and keeping the memory and ideals associated with Bhagat Singh alive among younger generations.
