Visakhapatnam is gearing up to host the CII Regional Partnership Summit at IIM Visakhapatnam, Gambheeram, on October 7. The district administration has intensified preparations to ensure arrangements are completed ahead of the event. The Times of India
District Collector M. Abhishikth Kishore reviewed the arrangements along with GVMC Commissioner Ketan Garg and Joint Collector Gobbilla Vidyadhari. Around 500 participants, including Union ministers, state ministers, MLAs from north Andhra districts and industry representatives, are expected to take part. The Times of India
Officials have been directed to arrange parking for VVIPs, VIPs and delegates, install clear signage, prepare entry passes and identity cards, and ensure invitations reach dignitaries on time. The administration has also instructed departments to focus on city beautification, sanitation and publicity around the venue. Medical camps, fire safety, food safety and uninterrupted power supply are among the other arrangements being planned for the summit.
