Defence Minister Rajnath Singh is scheduled to visit Visakhapatnam in October, with the visit expected to include engagements related to the Indian Navy and defence establishments in the city.

Visakhapatnam is home to the Eastern Naval Command (ENC), one of the Indian Navy’s three operational commands. The city hosts several major naval facilities and plays an important role in India’s maritime security infrastructure.
