Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, along with IT Minister Nara Lokesh, virtually inaugurated the Ratan Tata Innovation Hub from Mayuri Tech Park, Mangalagiri. This flagship initiative aims to foster innovation, entrepreneurship, and industry-academia collaboration across Andhra Pradesh.
Following the launch, the Chief Minister also pressed the remote button to inaugurate spoke (independent hub) centers established at Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Rajahmundry, Anantapur, and Tirupati. These centers are designed to work in tandem with the main hub, serving as regional innovation ecosystems and connecting local talent with global opportunities.
At the VMRDA Deck Building, Visakhapatnam, the inauguration of the spoke center was attended virtually by Government Whips Vepada Chiranjeevi Rao, Ganababu, MLC Gade Srinivasulu Naidu, Gajuwaka MLA Palla Srinivas Rao, City Mayor Pilla Srinivas Rao, District Collector M.N. Harendhira Prasad, VMRDA Commissioner K.S. Viswanathan, Joint Collector K. Mayur Ashok, AP Oilseeds & Growers Corporation Chairman Gandibabji, AU Registrar Dhanunjaya Rao, along with representatives from ArcelorMittal, Divi’s Laboratories, GMR Group, CII, and several other industry leaders.
In Visakhapatnam, the local representatives and officials physically inaugurated the spoke center at the Deck Building, marking a significant step towards making the city a hub for research, innovation, and industrial collaboration.
The program reflects Andhra Pradesh’s vision to integrate technology, industry, and academic resources, ensuring that cities like Visakhapatnam play a pivotal role in the state’s innovation-driven growth.
