In a move to strengthen regional air connectivity, the Andhra Pradesh Air Travelers Association has announced the revised flight timings for the Vijayawada–Visakhapatnam route. This updated schedule is expected to offer greater convenience to passengers and boost intra-state travel efficiency.

As per the revised schedule:

• IndiGo Flight from Vijayawada to Visakhapatnam will depart at 7:15 AM and arrive at 8:25 AM.

• IndiGo Flight from Visakhapatnam to Vijayawada will depart at 8:45 AM and arrive at 9:50 AM.

 

The association expressed its gratitude to the Hon’ble Minister for Civil Aviation, Mr. Ram Mohan Naidu, and the Member of Parliament for Visakhapatnam, Mr. Sri Bharat, for their initiative and efforts in resuming the flight service, which is expected to significantly benefit the public and business travelers alike.

Furthermore, the association has appealed to the Civil Aviation Ministry to consider launching a direct international flight from Visakhapatnam to Dubai, highlighting the growing demand for international connectivity from the coastal city. They also emphasized the need for improved air access to key tourist destinations to boost tourism in Andhra Pradesh.

This announcement marks a positive step toward modernizing and expanding air travel infrastructure within the state.
