Visakhapatnam will host its first-ever Comic Con on October 10 and 11, 2026, bringing comics, anime, gaming, cosplay, music and other elements of pop culture to the city. The event will be held at the Kalam Convention Centre on the AMTZ campus, with activities beginning at 11 a.m. on both days.

The performance line-up includes Telugu hip-hop artist Roll Rida, Vizag-based independent rapper C-SHOR, and stand-up comedian Kumar Varun. Other performers include stand-up comedians Gokul Kumar and Vivek Muralidharan, indie-pop trio 9Teen, and the flute-and-beatbox duo Fluteboxers.

The event will also bring together comic artists, illustrators, publishers and creators including Urban Tales, Bullseye Press, Holy Cow Entertainment, Studio Kapi, Yali Dream Creations, Dizon Draws and Vizag-based comic artist Salt & Sambar. Gaming zones, virtual-reality experiences, interactive entertainment and cosplay activities are also part of the programme.

 

According to the organisers, the Vizag edition will also provide a platform for local and emerging talent from Visakhapatnam and the wider Telugu creative community.
