Solapur–Anakapalle Weekly Express Becomes Regular Service

The Solapur–Anakapalle Weekly Express has been converted from a special service into a regular weekly train. The regular service will operate under train numbers 11313 and 11314. Train 11313 will depart from Solapur Junction at 9:20 a.m. on Fridays and reach Anakapalle the following day. The return service, train 11314, will depart from Anakapalle at 5:35 p.m. on Saturdays. The train will connect several important destinations across Maharashtra, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. Major stops include Kalaburagi, Raichur, Guntakal, Anantapur, Vijayawada, Tirupati and several stations in coastal Andhra. The service will also pass through Eluru, Rajamahendravaram, Nellore and other important railway stations. The earlier special service had reportedly received a good response from passengers. Its conversion into a regular weekly service is expected to provide greater reliability for travellers planning journeys on the route. The train will be particularly useful for passengers travelling between the Solapur region and Andhra Pradesh. The service also provides connectivity to Tirupati and other major destinations along the route. The regularisation of the train is expected to benefit passengers by providing a continued weekly rail connection between the two regions.
