Vizag’s young agri-tech enthusiasts move from ideas to ground reality as they prepare to pitch directly to farmers

Visakhapatnam, April 2026: After four months of intense problem-mapping, deep discussions, and building dedicated Action Squads, the AgriPreneurs Monthly Meet is stepping into its most crucial phase yet — “The Reality Check”.

 

On Saturday, April 18, a group of passionate agripreneurs will come face-to-face with the ultimate judges of their ideas — the farmers themselves. The event, hosted at VDC, GITAM University Campus, Rishikonda, promises to be a no-nonsense, ground-level validation session where tech dreams meet agricultural reality.

From Classroom Ideas to Field Reality

For the past four months, the AgriPreneurs community has been obsessively identifying pain points in agriculture, forming squads, and refining solutions. Now, the warm-up phase is officially over.

This Saturday’s meet will see three selected squads present their problem-obsession decks in simple, jargon-free Telugu. But the real test comes during “The Crucible” — the main event where these squads will pitch their ideas directly to a panel of progressive farmers.

No sugar-coating. No tech hype. Just raw, honest feedback.

If the farmers say “No”, the squads are ready to pivot. If they say “Yes”, the teams will immediately move into building a 30-day Minimum Viable Product (MVP) based on the inputs received.

What’s on the Agenda?

• Problem Pitches: Three squads showcase their deeply researched agricultural challenges
• The Spark Board: Fresh problems from the Idea Bank will be unveiled for new members to pick and own
• The Crucible: Live pitching session in front of real farmers for validation
• 30-Day Sprint Planning: Squads finalize their MVP roadmap post-feedback

The event will kick off at 9:30 AM and conclude by 1:00 PM, with networking and chai starting from 9:15 AM.
