Visakhapatnam could become the main base for INS Vikrant

India's first indigenous aircraft carrier, "Vikrant," will be based on the Indian east coast. Visakhapatnam could become the primary base, with Chennai serving as the secondary.

The induction of INS Vikrant, India's first indigenous aircraft carrier, will strengthen the country's defence. With this 45000-tonne warship, India will join countries such as Russia, the United Kingdom, the United States, France, and China in being able to design and build their own aircraft carriers.
