Visakhapatnam MP M. Sribharat has raised the concerns of EPS-95 pensioners associated with RINL.

He urged Union Labour and Employment Minister Mansukh Mandaviya to take steps to resolve their long-pending issues.

The matter concerns retired employees of the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant covered under the Employees’ Pension Scheme.

Pensioners have been seeking better financial security and resolution of pending pension-related concerns.

The issue is part of wider demands being raised by EPS-95 pensioners across the country.

National pensioner groups have been seeking an increase in the minimum monthly pension and other benefits.

RINL has also issued circulars relating to higher pension under EPS-95 and assistance for retired employees.

The MP’s intervention seeks greater attention from the Union Government towards the concerns of retired RINL employees.

Pension-related support is particularly important for retired workers who depend on their monthly pension for their livelihood.

The demand also highlights the need for timely implementation of eligible pension benefits.

EPS-95 pensioners across India have continued to press for stronger social-security measures.

The issue remains significant for the large community of retired employees connected with the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant.
