A Tourist Information Centre has opened at Visakhapatnam International Airport

A Tourist Information Center was opened at Visakhapatnam International Airport. This centre was inaugurated by Roja Selvamani, Minister of Tourism, Culture, and Youth Advancement, Special Chief Secretary of the Andhra Pradesh State Government, Rajat Bharghava IAS, and Kanna Babu, Managing Director of the Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation.

Minister Roja stated that AP is one of the most visited states in the country due to its tourist attractions. She added that more such centres would be set up throughout the state. The Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (APTDC) hopes to cater to tourists by informing them about various destinations, travel routes, and other important information through this centre.

Pocket guides, tourism brochures, an advanced virtual reality (VR) setup, and other tourist-friendly features such as an A-Z tourism information book, tourism sliders, and a Vizag tourism information map will be available at this tourist information centre. A sophisticated VR setup would provide visitors with a one-of-a-kind experience by displaying videos of the city. The centre would also have a stall to promote GI-tagged products.
