Achieving net zero emission is our motto: ISHARE Chief
Energy efficiency is the “first fuel” for achieving net zero emissions, improving quality of life, and creating jobs. Towards this, the Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE) initiatives are giving much-needed results, thereby contributing to India’s commitment towards net zero emission by 2070, said NS Chandrasekar, National Past President & Certified Energy Auditor of (ISHARE).
Delivering a keynote address during the 16th Installation ceremony of the ISHRAE- Visakhapatnam Chapter’s office bearers here on Thursday at Fortune Inn Sreekanya hotel, Mr. Chandrasekhar said energy systems are going digital, unlocking a new vision of energy efficiency and transforming the energy landscape. Insights on consumer behavior should underpin policy and program design to encourage efficieny choices. Regulations, incentives, and information campaigns can bolster energy efficiency and accelerate decarbonization in the industrial sector.
Prof. R Saravanan, National Secretary of ISHARE said “Through our consistent efforts towards creating an engaging environment and spreading education, we are elevating the entire eco-system of our heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC&R) industry and thus fulfilling the objectives of engage, educate and elevate, which are key pillars of ISHRAE’s growth.
With 50 chapters across India and 3 overseas chapters with 20000 members and 7000 volunteers, ISHARE’s goal is to train and develop Engineers to design and implement projects with the most energy-efficient HVAC&R Systems. On being installed as President of the ISHARE Visakhapatnam Chapter along with the CWC team for the year 2023-24, UCM Patnaik said it is an honor and privilege to get this opportunity to lead a team of highly competent professionals and deliver what is in the best interests of the HVAC & R Industry.
Madhu Burra, past president of ISHARE said we always create awareness and popularize energy efficiency as a resource in India, and our Certified Training program help field technician install the equipment as per the standard installation and commissioning process. Regional Director of SE-2B Satish Kumar Reddy, Ram Prasad, Past Secretary of ISHARE, Visakhapatnam Chapter, and other members attended the installation ceremony.
