According to the Andhra Pradesh Disaster Management Authority, continuous downpours have significantly raised water levels in local waterfalls and streams, including popular tourist spots like Katiki Waterfalls and Chaparai.
Authorities have also warned of an increased risk of landslides and rock collapse incidents, particularly along the ghat roads leading to Araku.
