GMR Visakhapatnam International Airport Limited (GVIAL), the operator of Alluri Sitarama Raju International Airport at Bhogapuram, has issued a caution to job seekers over fake employment offers being circulated using the names and branding of the airport and GMR Group. 

The airport clarified that GMR does not conduct walk-in interviews, charge candidates recruitment fees or offer jobs in exchange for payment. Job seekers have been advised not to pay anyone claiming to arrange an interview, appointment letter or guaranteed employment at Bhogapuram Airport, Vizag Airport or Alluri Sitarama Raju International Airport. 

 

According to the advisory, genuine vacancies should be verified through the official GMR careers portal, while recruitment-related communication after an application is made will come through authorised GMR email addresses. Candidates have also been cautioned against responding to unauthorised WhatsApp numbers, social media accounts, personal phone numbers or unofficial email IDs claiming to represent the airport.
