Situated near the renowned Dr. YSR ACA-VDCA International Cricket Stadium in Madurawada, the Chandrampalem Zilla Parishad High School has achieved a remarkable feat by employing 123 teachers, the highest number in any government school in the State.

Although thirteen vacancies remain unfilled out of the sanctioned strength of 136 teachers, including positions for physical education, biology, and Telugu school assistant teachers, this school is a shining example of dedication to education.

The recent sanctioning of 136 teachers by the government has led to an influx of students in the school, with over 4,000 students currently enrolled. The headmaster of the school, M. Rajababu, expressed his gratitude for this decision, highlighting that no other government school in the region possesses such a large number of teachers. Rajababu further shared the school's impressive statistics, stating, "Our school is established on 5.5 acres of land with 60 classrooms. We have created many records. In the last academic year, nearly 900 students of Class X passed out. Around 1,000-1,200 new students are getting admissions in the current academic year. As of June 17, a total of 502 students have been admitted."

What started as a modest institution in 1979, catering to a mere 100 students, has now flourished into a school with eight to nine sections for each class and an average of 60-65 students per classroom. The school's infrastructure is well-equipped with science and computer laboratories, a central library, and virtual classrooms featuring digital boards. In addition, the school recently introduced 53 Interactive Flat Panel (IFP) digital boards, most of which have already been installed, enhancing the learning experience for students. Moreover, approximately 20 classrooms are being modernized to further support technology-based education.

The Chandrampalem Zilla Parishad High School prides itself not only on academic excellence but also on its commitment to holistic development. The provision of quality education, equal emphasis on sports and extra-curricular activities, modern infrastructure facilities, technology-based education, and dedicated faculty have been instrumental in attracting a significant number of students. Visakhapatnam District Education Officer L. Chandrakala affirmed these factors, stating, "Provision of quality education, equal importance to sports and extra-curricular activities to the students, modern infrastructure facilities, technology-based education and dedicated faculty among other factors attract a large number of students to the school."

The school's achievements extend beyond its excellent teaching staff and facilities. In the 2022-23 SSC results, 62 students scored between 500 and 572 marks, with the highest score of 572 achieved by two students. Additionally, at least 50% of students in the school have passed in the first division, highlighting the commitment to academic success.
