CM Issues Orders to Spruce Up Visakhapatnam in Preparation for the G-20 Preparatory Meeting
CM Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has issued orders to beautify Vizag in preparation for the Global Investors Conference (GIC) on March 3rd and 4th, as well as the G-20 preparatory meeting on March 28th and 29th. On Thursday, the CM held a review meeting on G-20 preparations, during which he directed officials to take the Visakhapatnam beautification programme seriously.
He stated that committees must be formed to oversee the arrangements for the ambiance at tourist destinations that the delegates are likely to visit; they must be pleasant and free of security flaws. A discussion was held regarding the mobile app that is being developed for G-20 conferences to make things easier for all delegates visiting Vizag.
The "Meeting of the Infrastructure Working Group," which will be held in Visakhapatnam on March 28th and 29th, will be attended by 250 delegates. For this meeting, each G-20 country will send six delegates, and each international organization will send four delegates. Around 100 delegates from various central government departments will also be in the city for these meetings.
