DRM Conducts Surprise Inspection at Visakhapatnam Railway Station



Waltair Divisional Railway Manager Lalit Bohra conducted a surprise inspection of Visakhapatnam railway station on Wednesday. The inspection focused on cleanliness, passenger amenities and train punctuality. The DRM reviewed cleanliness across platforms, circulating areas and waiting halls. He also assessed the availability and maintenance of essential passenger facilities. During the inspection, Bohra interacted with passengers at the station and onboard trains. He sought direct feedback on the quality of services and overall passenger experience. Officials were instructed to promptly address shortcomings identified during the inspection. The DRM also emphasised the need for continuous monitoring to maintain service standards. The inspection was aimed at improving passenger convenience and ensuring better station management. ADRM K. Rama Rao and other senior officials of the Visakhapatnam division accompanied the DRM. The visit comes as railway authorities continue efforts to improve cleanliness and passenger amenities at major stations. Regular inspections are expected to help identify issues and ensure timely corrective action.
