In a heartwarming gesture of interfaith solidarity, Muslims came forward to support Hindu devotees during the Sri Kanaka Mahalakshmi Durga festival in Visakhapatnam.
The event, held in the China Waltair area, witnessed a beautiful display of communal harmony as members of the 'Mohammadiya Masjid Youth'
Extended a helping hand to their Hindu counterparts.
As devotees from across the city gathered at the temple for the annual 'Jathara', the scorching heat posed a challenge. Sensing the need for relief, the youth group set up a stall offering drinking water, soft drinks, and food to the visitors.
This thoughtful gesture was met with gratitude and appreciation from the devotees, who were touched by the message of brotherhood and unity conveyed through this act of kindness.
