National Seminar on Radioisotopes and Radiation Technologies Coming to Visakhapatnam
Mumbai-based National Association for Application of Radioisotopes and Radiation in Industry (NAARRI), in collaboration with Andhra University's Nuclear Physics Department,
is set to host an enlightening two-day national seminar titled "Recent Trends on Applications of Radioisotopes and Radiation Technologies" (ARIRT-2023). The event will take place on the university premises in Visakhapatnam, starting from September 28.
The secretary of NAARRI, P.J. Chandy, highlighted the continuous growth in demand for radioisotopes, both in medical and industrial domains.
This surge in demand has been fueled by the impressive success witnessed in the development of cutting-edge therapeutic and diagnostic radio-pharmaceuticals. The utilization of radionuclides has played a pivotal role in this regard.
