Naval Adventure: 59 NCC Cadets Embark on INS Gharial for Sea Attachment



In an exhilarating two-week sea attachment program, 59 NCC cadets hailing from five NCC Directorates across India had the unique opportunity to explore the intricacies of life at sea onboard INS Gharial in Visakhapatnam.

The comprehensive training program included hands-on experiences in sailing, firefighting, damage control, small arms training, and various other maritime activities.

The NCC cadets delved into the challenges and responsibilities associated with life on the sea, gaining valuable insights into naval operations. 


The immersive training aimed to enhance their skills and understanding of maritime practices. Notably, the cadets had the chance to visit the Naval Dockyard and explore different ships, providing them with a broader perspective of naval activities.

The sea attachment program on INS Gharial served as a unique and enriching experience for the NCC cadets, fostering a deeper appreciation for naval operations and instilling a sense of discipline and teamwork.
