NEET UG 2024 Answer Key Released: Steps to Check and Raise Objections
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the provisional answer key for the NEET UG 2024 examination.
Candidates who appeared for the exam can access the answer key on the official NTA website: exams.nta.ac.in. Additionally, the recorded responses of candidates have been made available for verification.
Key Details:
Objection Submission: Candidates can raise objections to the answer key until May 31, 2024, by paying a fee of ₹200 per question.
Examination of Objections: All objections will be thoroughly reviewed by a panel of subject experts. If an objection is found valid, necessary revisions will be made to the answer key.
Final Answer Key: The final answer key, after incorporating all valid objections, will be used to compile and announce the results. Candidates will not receive individual notifications regarding the status of their objections.
NTA’s Statement:
"Challenges presented by the candidates will undergo verification by a panel of subject experts. Should any candidate's challenge be deemed accurate, the Answer Key will be updated and applied universally to all candidates.
The final Answer Key, after the revisions, will serve as the basis for result compilation and announcement. Individual candidates will not receive specific notifications regarding the acceptance or rejection of their challenges.
The verdict of the Expert panel on challenges will be considered conclusive. No challenges will be accommodated post the deadline of May 31, 2024 (until 11:50 P.M.)."
Calculating NEET Scores:
Candidates can calculate their NEET scores using the following formula:
NEET marks = ( 4 × number of correct answers ) − number of incorrect answers
NEET marks=(4×number of correct answers)−number of incorrect answers
