The Rise, the rural drama helmed by creative and talented filmmaker Sukumar starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and other famous actors, has released last year. The film was a blockbuster at the box office and collected a staggering Rs 322.6 crores.

The recent reports presumably state that Sukumar and Allu Arjun have not yet decided on the beginning of its second part. It is from the script work of Pushpa: The Rule has not been completed. The latest information from the makers is that the shoot for Pushpa 2 will commence in October. And in this situation, the makers will have to change the release plan of the Allu Arjun starrer.

The source close to Sukumar revealed that the makers are planning to release Pushpa 2 either in December 2023 or January 2024. Sources say that Sukumar is working on the script, while Allu Arjun is trying a different demeanour for this character. Pushpa 2 is by Mythri Movie Makers and will be made with a whopping budget of Rs 400 Crore.
