In an official transition, K Sandeep has stepped into the role of Senior Divisional Commercial Manager (DCM) at the Waltair Division of East Coast Railway.

This handover, which took place on Thursday, marks a significant change as Sandeep succeeds Akhilesh Kumar Tripathi, who has been reassigned to the Sambalpur Division as Senior Divisional Operations Manager.

A member of the 2013 Indian Civil Service batch, Sandeep brings a wealth of experience as an Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS) officer.

Notably, he previously held the position of Senior Divisional Operations Manager in the Khurda Division within East Coast Railways.

During his tenure there, his leadership and strategic initiatives were instrumental in fostering operational excellence.

Sandeep's journey within the railways began as an Assistant Operations Manager in the Khurda Road Division. Since then, he has held diverse roles, including serving as an Area Manager at the Vizag Steel Plant in the Waltair Division,

Divisional Operations Manager (DOM) in the Sambalpur Division, and Senior Divisional Operations Manager (Movement) in the same division.

His extensive expertise in Traffic and Operations underscores his capability to navigate the complexities of railway management effectively.

With Sandeep at the helm, the Waltair Division anticipates further advancements in commercial operations and continued dedication to serving the railway's stakeholders with excellence.
