Six-Year-Old UKG Student Dies After Teacher Allegedly Hits Him in Vizag Classroom



A six-year-old UKG student died after collapsing inside a private school classroom in Visakhapatnam. The incident reportedly took place in the One Town area on Thursday. The child, identified as T. Pranay Tej, was reportedly attending a private school in the Town Kotharoad area. His family alleged that he had not completed some of his homework before going to school that morning. According to the allegations, the teacher was checking students’ homework when she confronted the boy. CCTV footage reportedly showed the teacher pulling the child closer and slapping him before he collapsed. Other school staff reportedly attempted to provide immediate assistance before taking him to King George Hospital. Doctors at the hospital declared the child dead on arrival. Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death, while the exact medical cause is expected to be established through the post-mortem examination. Education officials and police have examined the school and are reviewing available evidence, including CCTV footage. The incident has led the family to demand strict action against those responsible and the school management.
