Thunderstorm Alert Issued for Andhra Pradesh Over the Next Three Days
Visakhapatnam: Eighteen days after the southwest monsoon made its way into Andhra Pradesh, it has now enveloped the entire state as of Thursday.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has indicated that conditions are favorable for the southwest monsoon to progress further into the north Arabian Sea, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, the northwest Bay of Bengal, parts of Gangetic West Bengal, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, and eastern Uttar Pradesh within the next three to four days.
The IMD-Amaravati's forecast predicts that thunderstorms, accompanied by lightning, are expected to occur at isolated locations over north coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, south coastal Andhra Pradesh (SCAP), and Rayalaseema over the next three days.
Residents in these areas are advised to stay alert and take necessary precautions to ensure safety during this period.
