Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has travelled to New Delhi for a two-day visit during which he is scheduled to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and several Union ministers. Naidu is also expected to seek special financial assistance for Andhra Pradesh in view of drought-like conditions attributed to the prevailing El Niño situation. During his meeting with Union Jal Shakti Minister C.R. Patil, the Chief Minister is expected to discuss ways to utilise surplus water from the Godavari that currently flows into the sea, along with proposed river-linking initiatives. Naidu is also scheduled to meet Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari and discuss infrastructure-related matters. The Chief Minister will also participate with Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal in the curtain-raiser for the CII Partnership Summit 2026 in New Delhi. The 31st edition of the summit is scheduled to be held in Visakhapatnam on November 12 and 13. Metro India
