The Visakhapatnam Chapter of Public Relations Society of India (PRSI) celebrated National Public Relations Day on 21 April 2022. As part of National PR Day celebrations, the Visakhapatnam chapter arranged a special talk on the theme "Building Trust: Shaping up the new world with Public Relations". 
Andhra University Journalism and Mass Communications Department Head Prof DVR Murthy graced the event as the chief guest and delivered a speech on the theme. PRSI Visakhapatnam Chapter Chairman Dr PLK Murthy, Vice-Chairman and Vizag Steel Plant Corporate Communications Head RP Sharma, Secretary and HPCL Corporate Communications Manager MKVL Narasimham, senior PRSI executive body members, and students of St Joseph's College for Women participated in this celebrations.

A few members have been presented with awards for their exceptional work in this field. The organizers presented the Best PRO award to GITAM Deemed to be University PRO Mr NVNarasimham for his services. Best PR Service award was presented to a noted social worker MV Rajasekhar. And Best PRSI member award was awarded to KA Ramachandra Raguveer.
