Visakhapatnam District Prepares 1991 Polling Stations for Elections
In a significant update on the electoral arrangements in Visakhapatnam district, District Returning Officer Collector Mallikarjuna has announced the establishment of 1991 polling stations.
This move aims to ensure efficient and accessible voting facilities for the upcoming elections.
Collector Mallikarjuna revealed that a comprehensive team of 14,335 polling staff members will be deployed to manage the polling stations effectively.
Additionally, special teams have been constituted to diligently monitor and enforce the election code of conduct.
To further bolster the integrity of the electoral process, 23 flying squads have been appointed to swiftly address any irregularities or concerns that may arise during the election period.
These proactive measures underscore the district administration's commitment to conducting fair and transparent elections in Visakhapatnam, thereby upholding the democratic principles of the region.
