The Visakhapatnam–Mumbai Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express will receive an additional halt at Nidadavolu railway station from September 5. Train No. 18519, travelling from Visakhapatnam to LTT, will stop at Nidadavolu at 2:54 a.m. The train will have a one-minute halt at the station. In the opposite direction, Train No. 18520 travelling from LTT to Visakhapatnam will stop at Nidadavolu at 6:09 a.m. The new stoppage is being provided on an experimental basis. Railway authorities will assess passenger usage at the station before deciding whether to continue the halt permanently. The additional stop is expected to benefit passengers from Nidadavolu and surrounding areas. It will provide travellers with another direct rail connectivity option towards Visakhapatnam and Mumbai. The decision is also expected to benefit students, employees, business travellers and other regular passengers. Nidadavolu is an important railway junction connecting several routes in Andhra Pradesh. The new halt could improve connectivity between the Godavari region, Visakhapatnam and Mumbai. Passengers have been advised to take note of the new stoppage and timings from September 5.
