According to Vizag City Police Commissioner Ch Srikanth, kiosks are being prepared, and the system could go live during the new year if everything goes as planned. As the City of Destiny started to attract huge numbers of tourists from other districts, states, and countries, the kiosks would be of greater help to the tourists and visitors.

This system has been working efficiently in states such as Goa and Rajasthan. Foreigners find it difficult to report theft, loss of passports and valuable documents, and cheating. These kiosks, consisting of two personnel, will guide them in reporting such cases and speeding up the recovery.

Three conferences of the G20 summit, the Global Tech Summit, and the Global Investment Summit—are set to be held in Vizag in 2023. Several countries' personnel will be visiting the city for these summits and conferences. The number of tourists visiting Visakhapatnam is also expected to increase in the coming years, and considering all these factors, the kiosks will be of greater use.
