A wildlife photography exhibition highlighting the biodiversity of Andhra Pradesh will be held at Hawa Mahal on Beach Road, Visakhapatnam, on October 3 and 4, as part of World Wildlife Week 2026. The exhibition will be organised by WildVizag in collaboration with the Andhra Pradesh Forest Department and the Nagarjunasagar Srisailam Tiger Reserve (NSTR).
The exhibition will bring together 23 wildlife photographers from four States, with around 150 photographs covering the State’s forests, wetlands, grasslands, coastal habitats, protected areas and wildlife. A dedicated display will also provide information about various wildlife sanctuaries in Andhra Pradesh and the species they support.
The NSTR team will display equipment used by forest personnel for wildlife monitoring and protection, including surveillance cameras, drones, camera traps, tranquiliser equipment and other specialised field gear. This section is intended to give visitors an insight into the practical aspects of wildlife conservation.
One of the featured collections is Project Black, which documents 18 species of snakes found in Andhra Pradesh, ranging from the king cobra to the Brahminy blind snake. The exhibition will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on both days.
