The Zilla Parishads of Visakhapatnam, Anakapalli and Alluri Sitharama Raju districts are set to undergo administrative restructuring from September 25. Staff, assets and schools are being redistributed among the three Zilla Parishads following the formation of new districts. Anakapalli will receive 60% of the workforce and assets, ASR 30%, while Visakhapatnam will retain the remaining 10%.  Description  The Zilla Parishads (ZPs) of Visakhapatnam, Anakapalli and Alluri Sitharama Raju (ASR) districts are set to undergo administrative restructuring from September 25, following the reorganisation of Andhra Pradesh into new districts.  The restructuring includes the redistribution of existing staff, administrative assets and schools among the three Zilla Parishads. The move is intended to establish separate administrative arrangements for the newly formed districts.  Under the distribution framework, Anakapalli district, which comprises 24 mandals, has been allocated 60% of the workforce and administrative assets. ASR district, with 11 mandals, will receive 30%, while Visakhapatnam, which retains four rural mandals, will account for the remaining 10%.  Temporary headquarters have also been finalised for the new district-level Zilla Parishad bodies until permanent buildings are established. A community hall will serve as the main ZP office for ASR, while a ZP guest house opposite the municipal office has been allotted as the operational office for Anakapalli.  Financial allocations are still being finalised. Visakhapatnam ZP Chief Executive Officer Narayana Murthy said certain guidelines for distributing funds among the Zilla Parishads from September 25 were still awaited.  The restructuring is expected to establish independent administrative machinery for the three Zilla Parishads and support the implementation of rural development programmes at the district level.
