3,200 Riders Face License Suspension for Helmet Violation in Visakhapatnam

Visakhapatnam: A total of 3,200 two-wheeler riders had their driving licenses suspended for three months for riding without helmets in the city between September 2 and 6.

The Road Transport Authority (RTA) and Vizag city police have intensified their crackdown on traffic violations, with helmet-less riders now facing both a three-month license suspension and an e-challan fine.

Police stated that surprise checks will continue to enforce helmet use and penalize violators.
