The pediatric care facilities at King George Hospital (KGH) are set for a significant upgrade, thanks to the support from Adani Gangavaram Port's corporate social responsibility program.

The port's management handed over a cheque for Rs 90 lakh to Visakhapatnam District Collector Harendhira Prasad to fund these enhancements.

The donation will be used to expand the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and other pediatric healthcare facilities at KGH, effectively doubling the capacity to 200 beds. This expansion aims to improve the quality and availability of pediatric care for the community.

Speaking on the occasion, the port management stated, “This initiative is designed to provide the best possible medical care to children and their families. Adani Gangavaram Port is committed to community development, infrastructure improvement, and the enhancement of healthcare and livelihoods.”
