Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu Outlines Vision at CII National Council Meeting
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has announced a new focus on conducting a skill census across Andhra Pradesh, aiming to enhance job opportunities throughout the state.
Speaking at the CII National Council meeting held in Visakhapatnam on July 11, Naidu emphasized the strategic importance of Andhra Pradesh in the manufacturing sector and unveiled plans to transform Visakhapatnam into a fintech hub.
“The aim of the skill census is to provide job opportunities all over. Andhra Pradesh is a strategic region for the manufacturing sector and we will make Visakhapatnam a fintech hub,” stated the Chief Minister.
Naidu highlighted the vast potential in various sectors including agro-industries, leveraging the state's extensive coastline and robust infrastructure. He pointed to significant opportunities in pharmaceuticals, automobiles, and hardware industries.
In a subsequent engagement, Chief Minister Naidu met with representatives from AP MedTech Zone in Visakhapatnam. He commended the zone for its advancements in the manufacture of medical devices and assured continued governmental support to bolster its growth and development.
