Visakhapatnam Art Expo Highlights Student Talent and Cultural Heritage
Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan hosted the Simhachalam Art Exhibition on Thursday, centered around the theme "Celebrate our Culture - Preserve our Heritage." This vibrant event showcased the artistic prowess of students and aimed to foster cultural appreciation.
Former Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu and Mizoram Governor Kambhampati Hari Babu graced the occasion as chief guests, praising the students for their impressive displays of talent. Mr. Naidu highlighted the importance of such initiatives in developing well-rounded individuals and lauded the school for its dedication to holistic education. Mr. Hari Babu encouraged other schools to similarly promote cultural understanding and appreciation among their students.
The exhibition featured 100 meticulously crafted artworks created by young artists aged 9 to 16, spanning grades 6 to 12. A classical dance performance dedicated to Lord Varaha Narasimha Swami added a traditional touch to the event, further enriching the cultural experience.
