Amul company will set up processing units in Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam next month, said MD RS Sodhi. A processing unit has already been set up in Madanapalle. So, they process and pack milk there and sell it.

Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Friday inaugurated the Jagananna Palavelluva program Anantapur district from his camp office virtually.

Amul has been supplying fresh flavored milk to about 25 lakh children in Anganwadi and schools every day for the last 15 years in Gujarat.

They supply cold fresh flavored milk to children from nearby processing units.

In the same way they supply flavored milk in the same way in the villages which are close to the processing units in the state. They have been providing nutritious food to Anganwadi children in Gujarat for the last 4 years. For this, they have set up three plants and are supplying 15 thousand tons of nutritious food.

Hope, Andhra Pradesh also gets to benefit with the Amul processing unit as they collect milk from the villages.
