Visakhapatnam: Andhra University has announced the results of the APSET-2024 on Friday, with the results now available on the official website https://apset.net.in.

Out of the 30,448 candidates who appeared for the test, 2,444 have qualified for the posts of lecturer or assistant professor in colleges and universities across Andhra Pradesh. The examination was conducted in accordance with the updated UGC guidelines for the State Eligibility Test.

Qualified candidates can find their registered numbers, cutoff marks for each subject (category-wise), and scorecards on the official APSET website. These candidates are now eligible for appointment as lecturers or assistant professors in higher education institutions within the state.

The APSET certificate will be issued based on the information provided by the candidates in their application forms. However, the appointing authorities are responsible for verifying the original records and certificates of the candidates during the appointment process.

"The APSET is not responsible for the verification process. Candidates must meet the minimum eligibility criteria for APSET as outlined in the APSET-2024 notification. Certificates for qualified candidates will be sent through registered post to the address provided in the application," stated APSET member-secretary G.M. Jagannadha Raju.
