Annual Kalyanotsavam of Sri Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy: Simhachalam's Revered Tradition Returns on April 19

Mark your calendars for April 19 as the revered Sri Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple in Simhachalam prepares for its annual Kalyanotsavam, a cherished tradition among devotees.

This auspicious event will commence with the installation of the 'pelli rata' on the same day, followed by the grand Radhotsavam (chariot festival) at 8 p.m., culminating in the divine Kalyanotsavam at 9:30 p.m.

The anticipation grows as the temple gears up for the annual 'Nijarupa darshanam,' affectionately known as 'Chandanotsavam,' slated for May 10.

Devotees from across North Andhra, various parts of Andhra Pradesh, and neighboring Odisha flock in large numbers to partake in this sacred event.

In preparation for the upcoming festivities, Temple Executive Officer Srinivasa Murthy has engaged in discussions with temple priests and officials to ensure seamless arrangements.

Their collaborative efforts aim to enhance crowd management and facilitate a smooth darshan experience for all devotees.
