The Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation began taking the necessary measures for the beautification of Visakhapatnam ahead of the national and international events that are scheduled to be held in Visakhapatnam. As Visakhapatnam will be hosting many international events, like the G20 Summit, citizens and the GVMC team must work together to keep the city clean and green, said GVMC Commissioner.
 
 
 

An inspection was held by the GVMC Commissioner, P. Rajababu, who along with the support staff went on an inspection visit from the Visakhapatnam Port Authority In-Gate to Jodugullapalem. During the inspection along the RK beach, he spoke about the beautification measures to be taken ahead of global events.
 
 Three conferences of the G-20 summit are set to take place in the City of Destiny. Global ambassadors from G-20 countries will be visiting Vizag to participate in the conferences. The state government is also holding the tech summit, the global health summit, and the global investor's summit in the city. Considering all the events, the arrangements are being made by the various departments, including GVMC.
