The Andhra Pradesh government is planning the Global Investor Summit (GIS) in Vizag on a large scale to attract local and global investments with a concentration on 12 major sectors. The invitee list for GIS consists of central ministers, chief ministers from Indian states, CEOs, ambassadors, and top-level executives from India and other countries. The government of AP announced that GIS was being hosted "with the goal of preparing for the future."
The list consists of PM Modi, Central Ministers, Chief Ministers of 15 states, 44 global industrialists, 53 Indian industrialists, top executives of global companies, and ambassadors of various countries, are among the other invitees for this two-day summit that is set to be held on March 3rd and 4th at the Andhra University Engineering College Grounds.
Some of the names on the list include Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, Tesla CEO Elon Musk, Apple CEO Tim Cook, Google CEO Sundar Pichai, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, Samsung Chairman Oh-Hyun Kwon, Mukesh Ambani of Reliance, Gautam Adani of Adani Group, Anand Mahindra of Mahindra, Kumar Mangalam of Birla Group, Adi Godrej, Narayan Murthy, Rashid Prem, and others.
