Dr. B Sravani Sandhya Appointed Chair of Young Indians, Visakhapatnam Chapter 2025
Visakhapatnam: In a significant announcement during the 16th Annual Session of the CII Young Indians (Yi) Visakhapatnam Chapter, Dr. B Sravani Sandhya, founder of Aura Skin and Hair Clinic, was named Chair for 2025. Ms. Deepa Kodali, Director of SVL Real Estates, has been appointed as Co-Chair for the same term. The announcement was made by Dr. Shrinivas M. Joshi, Regional Chair of Yi Southern Region.
Dr. Sravani Sandhya, an accomplished dermatologist, graduated from JAS Medical College, Mysore, and earned her MD in Dermatology from Kamineni Institute of Medical Sciences. She is a pivotal figure in Vizag’s healthcare sector, pioneering advancements in skin and hair treatment.
Ms. Deepa Kodali brings her expertise in operations management, real estate, and community service to her new role. As a director at SVL Real Estates, she is known for her strategic leadership and focus on excellence.
Dr. V Murali Krishna, Chairman of CII Andhra Pradesh, commended the Yi team for their innovative efforts in community engagement and stakeholder initiatives. He highlighted the significant contributions of the organization to strengthening societal values.
Outgoing Chair, Mr. Harsha Nandan, detailed the chapter's accomplishments, including a membership increase to 145 in 2024 and over 230 impactful activities. Key initiatives included the "Safe Touch & Unsafe Touch" awareness campaign under Project Masoom, Thrift Sale, Yi Parliament Session, and the "Run for Vote" campaign.
The new leadership is expected to continue building on these achievements, fostering growth and creating lasting community impact.
