1. Dolphin Nose
Dolphin Nose is a hill situated between Yarada and Gangavaram Port. As the shape of the hill resembles a dolphin's nose, the hill is called Dolphin Nose. It is a massive granite headland that rises 358 metres above sea level and is 174 metres high. The lighthouse, situated on a rocky outcropping in the middle of the sea, directs ships that are even 65 km away.
2. Kailashgiri
Kailasagiri is a hilltop park situated within the city limits. The park covers 380 acres of land with tropical trees. The hill, which stands at 568 feet above sea level, provides a panoramic view of Visakhapatnam. A cable vehicle, which is the first of its kind in Andhra Pradesh, connects to the hill's summit.
3. Rama Naidu Studios
On the Rushikonda Beach stretch, at a distance of 18 KM from RK Beach, is the Ramanaidu Film Studio Hill. The film studio is the preferred place for several film producers of nearby states to produce movies in national and regional languages. One can see a magnificent view of the sea and beach from the top of the hill.
4. Simhachalam
Simhachalam is a Hindu pilgrimage located within 6km of the city. The hill range is at a range of 377 m. From the top of the hill, one can see a beautiful view of the urbanizations and lush greenery.
5. Ross Hill
The Ross Hill church is named after a local judge, Monsieur Ross, who is said to have built a house on the hill. The Church is known for its magnificent architecture and scenic views of the surrounding beaches, port, and shipyard. The view from the hilltop after rainfall is quite pleasant.
