From September 14 to 18, The Indira Gandhi Zoological Park, Visakhapatnam will celebrate Big Butterfly Month 2022. Throughout the five days, a variety of programs will be held.

The primary goal of these programs is to educate children and younger generations about the plants that butterflies rely on for food and shelter, as well as how to make butterfly homes, conservation of butterflies, and manage butterfly gardens.

There will be a workshop on the theme "Act on Butterflies and Butterfly Conversation," a webinar titled "Planning and Management of Butterfly Gardens," a photography competition, and a butterfly craft designing competition. The zoo management made these programs available to people of all ages who wanted to participate.

Those interested in participating in any or all of the programs should pay a fee of Rs 100 for individual programs and Rs 400 for five-day programs. All participants will receive certificates, and the winners will receive prizes.
