Chandrababu Naidu to Tour Vizag and Oversee Key Construction Projects



Chief Minister's First Visit Since Taking Office

Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu will visit Visakhapatnam on Thursday, 11 July 2024, marking his first trip since assuming office last month. During his visit, he will engage in various events and review the progress of significant infrastructure projects.

In preparation for his visit, Home Minister Vangalapudi Anita, Anakapalle Collector Vijaya Krishnan, District SP Murali Krishna, and other senior officials inspected Darlapudi on 9 July to ensure all arrangements are in place.

Union Steel Minister to Inspect RINL Tomorrow

Review Meeting on Performance and Financial Condition

Union Minister of Heavy Industries and Steel H D Kumaraswamy will also visit Visakhapatnam on 10 July to review the performance and financial status of Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), the corporate entity of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP). Amid discussions of privatization, his review will be crucial for the future of the steel plant. According to his tour schedule, Kumaraswamy will arrive at Visakhapatnam International Airport at 4:00 pm on 10 July and stay at the RINL guest house. On 11 July, he will conduct a review meeting at the steel plant from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm before departing for Hyderabad to meet with officials of the National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) later in the day.
